<P> </P>血餘炭 【藥用】本品為人的頭髮經加工而成的塊狀物。
<P> </P>【性味與歸經】苦，平。

<P> </P>【功效】止血 【臨床應用】用於咯血、衄血、血淋、崩漏等症。
<P> </P>本品有止血的功效，臨床上用治各種出血症候，常與陳棕炭、側柏葉、藕節等配合應用。
<P> </P>此外，據文獻記載，血余炭又有補陰利尿作用，配滑石等，可治小便不通。
<P> </P>【處方用名】血余炭（外用） 【一般用量與用法】一錢至三錢，煎服。
<P> </P>如研末吞服，每次三分至五分。
